Starting a business, especially two, has been one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences of my life. There’s freedom, creativity, and purpose… but also a lot of unglamorous behind-the-scenes moments no one prepares you for.
🎨 Joyfuel Findings
Launching an e-commerce store has been joyful and chaotic. I’ve loved designing uplifting products and building a brand that sparks happiness, but inventory decisions, marketing algorithms, and tech glitches? Definitely not in the highlight reel.
🏢 Arts Management Resources
Consulting under my own umbrella has been a dream come true. I get to help nonprofits grow with strategy, clarity, and equity. But building a brand, attracting clients, and staying organized while wearing all the hats? It’s no joke.
📚 Lessons Learned
- Uncertainty is part of the process. Make space for it.
- Progress beats perfection.
- Motivation doesn’t always show up. Discipline carries you forward.
- Rest is part of the work.
